Global Wealth Management:

Our Unique Wealth Generation System

Global wealth management begins with identifying your investment objectives, risk tolerance and liquidity requirements and customizing an approach that serves both your short and long-term needs.

Our well orchestrated financial management strategy seeks to afford our clients the ability to capitalize on favorable investment opportunities.

12 Capital Group’s unique global relationships, combined with our effective risk management and wealth generation strategies, ensure a comprehensive financial approach for our clients.

The 12 Capital Group
Wealth Generation System Includes:

  • Managing each client’s financial portfolio with a clear understanding of short and long-term financial objectives, risk tolerance, tax requirements and liquidity needs.
  • Customizing an investment strategy and wealth generation plan to maintain each client’s desired risk level and achieve maximum return.
  • Creating a working relationship with each client’s professional team to develop a wealth management plan for a myriad of investment vehicles as part of a global financial plan.
  • Continuously monitoring each client’s financial plan and investment portfolio, consistently measuring results, making adjustments as required.

Financial planning and wealth management decisions must be fluid, subject to evolution as clients grow older, as children reach adulthood and as circumstances or financial markets change. Clients must always be aware that there are risks inherent to investing, and not all investments are suitable for every investor. Your Financial Consultant can provide you with additional information, including more complete details on investment objectives, as well as the risks, fees, charges and expenses associated with investing.

12 Capital Group has expanded our suite of financial services to include 12 Capital Group Private Wealth Management and 12 Capital Group Insurance Services LLC.

12 Capital Group Private Wealth Management Services provides clients with access to a wide range of investments coupled with professional advice and guidance to develop strategic financial solutions – all for a single fee, based on the value of your account.

Investment Management Advisor

Investment Management and Tools

As a boutique investment advisory firm, we understand our role as spanning generations. 12 Capital Group’s respected team of Financial Advisors helps our clients to grow assets through portfolio construction and investment diversification, often presenting alternative investments to our clients to ensure long-term growth opportunities and a balanced investment strategy. Whether planning for retirement, acquiring property or expanding a business, we listen and we understand—every decision requires sound advice to keep your money growing, your risks managed and your tax liability at a minimum. In addition to expertise identifying and managing equities and fixed income products, 12 Capital Group offers to select clients: investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equities.

Stocks are a part, if not the cornerstone of nearly any investment portfolio. A stock is a share in the ownership of a company. Stock represents a claim on the company’s assets and earnings. Common and preferred are the two main forms of stock. At 12 Capital Group, we offer comprehensive and thorough third-party analysis to complement our own proprietary research. Please contact your Financial Advisor to assist in creating a diversified stock portfolio to meet your investment objectives.

Bonds (taxable and non-taxable) are the essence of many investors’ portfolios. When you purchase a bond, you are lending money to the issuer. The issuer promises to pay principal and interest on a specified maturity date. Bonds generally tend to lower the risk profile of an investment portfolio ultimately providing lower and sometimes less risky but consistent returns. 12 Capital Group’s seasoned, experienced consultants enjoy a long-standing reputation for finding quality and value in taxable and tax-exempt bonds. We offer both short-term and long-term fixed income strategies. Our broad range of bonds includes agency securities, corporate bonds, municipals, and treasuries. Your Financial Advisor can help simplify the complex process of investing in bonds to enhance your investment income or prepare you for future expenses (college or retirement). Please discuss bond specifics such as: credit rating, maturity, coupon, prices, and yields with your Financial Advisor to identify if bonds are appropriate for you.

An option is a financial derivative that represents a contract sold by one party (option writer) to another party (option holder). The contract offers the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy (call) or sell (put) a security or other financial asset at an agreed-upon price (the strike price) during a certain period of time or on a specific date (exercise date). Options are extremely versatile and may be used to speculate on the movement of an index or security, or as a hedge to reduce the risk of holding a position. Options are sophisticated trading tools and can involve significant risk and are not suitable for all investors. Prior to buying or selling an option, an investor must receive a copy of “Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options”. Investors must be approved by 12 Capital Group to invest in options and not all investors obtain such approval. Please discuss option strategies with your Financial Advisor to determine if options may be a suitable investment for you.

Mutual Funds

Mutual Funds offer individual investors the benefit of pooling their money with that of many other investors for greater buying power. They also allow investors to own many securities (stocks, bonds, and other products) that they could normally not afford to invest in individually. Other benefits offered by Mutual Funds are professional management and diversification. Many funds are available to meet specific investment styles such as growth, value, large cap, international, etc. We offer a diverse and extensive array of fund families. 12 Capital Group through our strategic relationship with Axos Clearing Correspondent Services, has access to more than 250 mutual fund families and over 12,000 load and no-load mutual funds. One of our Financial Advisors can assess your current financial situation and help you choose a mutual fund that is right for you.

Exchange Traded Funds

An ETF, or exchange traded fund, is a marketable security that tracks an index, a commodity, bonds, or a basket of assets like an index fund. Unlike mutual funds, an ETFs trade like a common stock on a stock exchange and typically have higher daily liquidity and lower fees than mutual fund shares, making them an attractive alternative for individual investors. By owning an ETF, investors get the diversification of an index fund as well as the ability to sell short and buy on margin. There exists potential for favorable taxation on cash flows generated by ETFs since capital gains from sales inside the fund are not passed through to shareholders as they commonly are with mutual funds. Please contact your Financial Advisor to determine if ETFs are right for you.

REITs are securities that sell like stocks on the major exchanges and invest in real estate directly, either through properties or mortgages. REITs receive special tax considerations and typically offer investors high yields, as well as a highly liquid method of investing in real estate. Individuals can invest in REITs either by purchasing their shares directly on an open exchange or by investing in a mutual fund that specializes in public real estate. An additional benefit to investing in REITs is the fact that many are accompanied by dividend reinvestment plans (DRIPs). Investing in REITs is a liquid, dividend-paying means of participating in the real estate market. Please discuss REITs with your Financial Advisor to determine if this is a suitable investment vehicle for you.

Margin Loans

Whether you’re looking to increase your investment return, or need a convenient line of credit, a margin loan can help. Buying on margin allows you to purchase more securities than you could on a cash-only basis and potentially enjoy a greater return on your investment capital. 12 Capital Group’s margin account, offered through Axos Clearing, enables investors to sell short and potentially profit from downward price movements. Margin borrowing increases your level of market risk, so the value of your investments can go down as well as up. You must repay your margin loan, regardless of the underlying value of the securities you purchased, therefore, if the equity in your account falls below the minimum maintenance requirements, Axos Clearing will issue a maintenance call requiring you to deposit additional cash or acceptable collateral. If you fail to meet a maintenance call, 12 Capital Group may be forced to sell some or all of the securities in your account to protect its loan, with or without your prior approval. While many investors find margin to be a useful tool, the associated risks mean it’s not right for everyone. Please speak to your Financial Advisor to better understand the rules and requirements and determine if margin loans are right for you.

An underwriting syndicate is a group of investment banks that works together to issue new stock to the public. This group is formed temporarily for the purpose of handling a large transaction that would be difficult for the entities involved to handle individually. Your Financial Advisor can update you on our current syndicate offerings.

Private Offerings

To support our clients, we offer a select group of qualified investors the opportunity to participate in various offerings of middle market and emerging growth companies. New investors must qualify pursuant to certain definitions set forth under Regulation D. Please speak to your Financial Advisor to learn more about qualifications and upcoming offerings.

Individual Retirement Accounts

12 Capital Group believes it is never too early to begin planning for your retirement. Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are an important tool in helping you take control of your financial future. We offer a wide range of retirement programs: Traditional IRAs offer tax-deferred growth potential. All or part of your contributions are tax-deductible, reducing your taxable income. These deductible contributions are taxed only when making withdrawals, at which time many investors will be a lower tax bracket. Alternatively, the Roth IRA offers tax-free growth potential. After-tax contributions can grow tax deferred, and qualified withdrawals are tax free. We also offer Rollover IRAs. When you leave a job, you may roll your 401k into a Rollover IRA allowing your retirement savings to continue to grow tax-deferred, and broadening the range of available investment options. Please discuss your retirement goals with one of our Financial Advisors to create a personalized retirement plan.
